Located in the Nanaimo hospital lobby.
The Auxiliary Gift shop is located on the main floor of the Nanaimo hospital in the lobby near the elevators. The NRGH Gift Shop in one form or another has served the hospital for many years and is run completely by volunteers.
First and foremost, the Gift Shop provides a vital service for patients, staff and visitors, and stocks essential items that may be needed during a hospital stay.
A wide variety of personal care products, candy, ice cream bars, newspapers, magazines, greeting cards, as well as unique gifts, fashion jewellery and ladies fashions are offered for sale. Cut flower bouquets, plants and silk flower arrangements are also available for sale.
Balloons and plush animals can be purchased to cheer up any patient, visitor or hospital staff person.
The “baby corner” has hand made baby outfits, blankets, quilts’ and baby gifts.
